From Saturday to July 16, Fontainebleau Castle will host the last world stage of the exhibition, the Maison de l'Empereur.
This beautiful exhibition on the staging of the political power of the empire was created in Montreal, then presented in the United States and is the result of a collaboration between the Musée des beaux arts du Québec and the Château de Fontainebleau.
The Montalivet cup of the Sèvres Manufacture acquired by Fontainebleau thanks to Aurignac Finance's sponsorship is particularly highlighted, it is one of the many exceptional pieces gathered in a very high quality scenography.
The inauguration of the exhibition was preceded by the ceremony to present the insignia of knight of arts and letters to Christophe Beyeler, chief curator of heritage at the Château de Fontainebleau, in charge of the Napoleon I Museum.
